I was born right here in Waco, TX. I grew up in Robinson and graduated from Robinson I.S.D. I then received my Bachelors degree in elementary education from the University of Texas at Arlington through McLennan Community College. I also just earned my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Literacy Studies.
Some of my hobbies include gardening, reading, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and sewing. This year is my 11th year as a 3rd grade teacher! I taught for 8 years at Rapoport Academy, and this is my third year at Mountainview IB.
Here at Mountainview, we value a team approach to education. This team includes not only the teachers, admin, and other staff who work with your child, but it very much includes the family and the child him/herself.
